are welcome. In 1910 the first Australian coins were minted, they consisted of the silver florin, shilling, sixpence and threepence. In 1911 the penny and halfpenny were introduced. In 1937 & 1938 silver Crowns valued at five shilling were issued. Because of their size they proved to be unpopular and disappeared from circulation. English coins constantly appeared in change right up until 1966. In 1966 the imperial coins were replaced with decimal currency. We currently have in stock Australian Pre-decimal and Decimal coins to offer. The list includes Australian Penny sets with or without key dates, Proof sets and individual coins in a range of conditions, including most scarce and rare dates.
